game: dream interview

So you're getting to interview someone. What would you really like to ask?
For the writers among us, this can be a good exercise for getting to know your characters. Take a few of the questions people suggest and ask them of your characters.
If you're having difficulty thinking of questions in a generic sense, imagine a specific person you'd like to ask a specific question of. You don't need to tell us who you have in mind.

Here's a couple questions to get you started:

What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?

In what ways are you like your mother? In what ways are you like your father?

Angel:
The first question I'd ask of anyone would be "do you dream?", and followed by "What is the most common one, and what was the most terrifying one?"

This, of course leads to the suggestion of a deep unconscious, primordial-self searching, provided that you are not discussing this with a certifiably insane (in the nasty sence) potentailly homicidal type. Don't suggest it, except from a very safe distance.

There is also the possibility that the answer would be either banal or "no. I don't dream." which in my opinion leads to some very interesting facets of a character, or real person.

Also, I am my mother's daughter in that a challenge of almost any kind brings out a positive explosion of ideas, emotions, excitement -- quickly followed unfortunately by fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt. We are both prone to believing that we are being judged, and that in someone's elses eyes, we are doomed to perpetual failure. I am like my father in that I internalize this and generally keep my demons buried out of sight of others. However, I also inherited my daddy's allergies and love of those things whose presence cause us the greatest pain... e.g. cats, birds, horses, reptiles etc., old books, the outdoors, musty old houses, artifacts, castles, and renovation. All very bad.

sigh.

Love!

"So, Mike, what does human ear taste like? Chicken?"

"Rush, when was the last time you actually verified something you read before repeating it?"

"Drew, would you...."
